500 (Days of Summer)…

500 Days of Summer Movie Image of Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt
…was released on 4th September, starring the quirky Zooey Deschanel as the main character, Summer Finn and the charming Joseph Gordon-Levitt as her male counterpart, Tom Hansen. I immediately loved it from the start and would even go as far as to say it’s the best film I’ve seen so far this year. And I see a lot of movies. In the last 18 months I’ve racked up an incredible amount of viewing time, amounting to 319 films and counting. Yes, and I still keep track!

500 (Days of Summer) is whimsical, real, artistic, happy, sad and funny. It’s well written and to top if off it has a wonderfully eclectic soundtrack to compliment it’s changeable storyline. I thoroughly enjoyed the film and the musical accompliment and recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet. I managed to blag a free song on itunes and downloaded Vagabond by Wolfmother from the soundtrack. It rocks, and it was free!!

Also free is the meal for four offered by The Snug Bar in Cambridge for the first week of October, and I’ve also managed to secure a selection of celebrity chef bakeware and a collection of beauty products including RoC and Veet. Now I’ve just got to wait for all my goodies to arrive and then set to work on reviewing everything! The running total for my freebies is now around the £300 mark. If you have any products you would like to me to review please contact me at e.randell@gmail.com.
